Having read the pros and cons about using a hylomar-type sealer when installing the composite head gasket on the 'net, I am wondering what the boards wisdom is when it comes to installing such on the leanburn (AVL) Royal Enfield engine?

The OEM-installed gasket was seeping oil at the joint of the pushrod tunnels and I need to ensure with the new gasket and a flat surface that this does not continue to occur.

What do the brains trust advise?

Use the composite with Hylomar as long as everything is pretty flat it will work.  ERC

Thanks ERC. It sounds like a plan.
