Nothing like an engine rebuild with pictures  ;) What mods or upgrades are you intending: piston/ bore size, cams, head work, etc??

As far as the intended mods;  besides some paint work I do not have too many for this year.  The head work was done last year and piston/cams I am planning for next.  Of course, I will be posting pictures as I progress.

That is a flintlock, lock.
The view is looking at the inside of the lock.  The part that is normally inside the gunstock where no one can see it.

Yes, fully functioning flintlocks are still available.  They are basically the same as the flintlocks that were made 200 years ago.

After having been out of the country for a month I am back home.  First I would like to ask you to verify for me that the dowel pins, actually bolts, are in positions #2 and #9.  I marked only those on the perimeter obviously skipping these three for the front bracket.
