Yay
on: May 12, 2014, 10:56:44 pm
After riding my 08 Iron for 6 years day in and day out to my job - I finally got a car for commuting to work - so now I get to "play" with my RE for once.  Repairs and fixing stuff is now going to be a good time instead of a stress time.  I wont miss those same damn roads... over and over.  Ever do that to where you swear you could ride them with no eyeballs?  haha.

Yah, I rode the same roads to work for over 29 years.

My ride in and ride home were (almost) always enjoyable and more than a few times the ride home was the best part of my day. :)

Just riding for fun is the best part of motorcycling. You're gonna love it!

And the wrenching and modding really takes a whole new feeling when you are doing it as part of your enjoyment. I actually like that part as much as the riding part! It is so rewarding to ride on the results of your handiwork, and feel the improvements.

I know I'm a little crazy that way, but I just never get enough of that. :o
