Hey guys, small issue ive noticed:
When pulling up whilst using the front brake, when I halt the usual dip forward happens, but the spring back is a few seconds later.
Is my fork oil due for a change, its abit odd as whilst riding it's very responsive and smooth.

I think it would be worth changing.
 I have used 10w-30 motor oil, ...currently using ATF type F (Automatic Transmission Fluid) in the forks.

Changing the oil in the forks is definitely worth the effort.  Quick, Cheap, and Easy.  I use ATF Fluid in mine, but there are numerous types of oils made specifically for the job.

If the oil change does not help I would loosen up the fasteners so the assembly can home out. If there is binding that might help.

I would put fork oil in it. I don't get the affinity toward motor oil and ATF in the forks. that stuff is an old wives' tale that's lasted since the '50s before fork oil was invented. Nowadays there is oil made specifically for forks. Why not use it? It works very well. I had 10wt in my G5. It was great, but if you don't like 10wt, there are a variety of other viscosities available.

My '99 bullet has done that since day one.  I believe it is part of the design, I would not spend any time worrying about it.

Thanks for the advice guys, Ill grab some oil and change it this weekend.
