That is a fantastic idea Tom!  I love it!  I already have a few ideas in my head.  ;)  Yes, let's definitely discuss this over the phone and see if we can come up with a plan of attack.   :)

Okay!
I'll be pretty busy for the next few days, but I'll try to get at least a tank packed up to send out to you next week.
I'll give you a call when I can get a break in the schedule.

Me too!  And I'm not even in the market for paint or engine work (at the moment... ;) )!

Well, I'm going to want my Ace Air Canister touched up with some Madras type stripes top and bottom and an Ace logo in gold... might as well go with the Tom Lyons endorsed paint professional...

VACATION AT LAST!!!!!
Today is day 1 of my 9 day vacation!  Did a little fishing this morning and then went to DIA to pick up my wife and stepson from their weekend adventure to the Cleveland area.  Now I'm packing up for my trip down to Texas to spend a week with my parents and 2 kids.  My parents just bought a retirement home in Harlingen, TX about 45 minutes from South Padre Island, so it will be exciting to get to see their new home.  I'm looking forward to going boogie boarding with my son.  The retirement community they moved into has a private golf course, jacuzzi, sauna, pool, shuffleboard and all kinds of fun stuff.  Should be a great time!   :D

I was just looking at google maps.  I didn't realize it is damn near in Mexico!  I better be careful, I don't have a passport.  LOL

Those retirements places are actually pretty nice.....Playing shuffleboard, wives play cards, going to the casino, hanging out at the pool, chilling out on the golf cart around a low maintenance community....I'm still keeping it as a option when it time to get out of dodge...The enfield is coming with me/It might pass as a moped... 8)

Port Isabelle is just down the road!  I'll have to check it out.  I definitely want to do some fishing while I'm there too.  :D

Made it into McAllen Texas last night around 9pm.  I was greeted at the airport by my son, daughter and niece and nephew holding "Missed You" signs which was totally awesome.   :)    Spent the early morning sitting on the patio drinking coffee and catching up with my mom.  This afternoon we are going to get our fishing licenses and bait and then this evening we will go to South Padre for some sunset ocean fishing.  Going to have to get a few rounds of golf in this week too.   Man, this is going to be a great week!   ;D

Hey, Scottie,
I'm on your side.
After losing a couple of chained down motorcycles from a car port of an apartment about 35 years ago, I decided I'd never live in another place that didn't have a garage. Still being true to that notion. I found renting condos could be cheaper than apartments and have a lot better amenities!

I'm having a great time in Texas with the family!  Went to S. Padre Island Wednesday night and played in the ocean with the kids (my son, daughter, niece and nephew).  Brought the fishing gear and Mom and I waded out a ways and fished the surf.  We both caught 2 whitings, the 2 mom caught were a bit smaller, but I caught a real nice 16"er and another that was about 12".  I let my son try and catch a fish too, but apparently it's been so long since I've taken him he forgot how to reel a fish in!  LOL  He had a real nice whiting on and he starts reeling it in as fast as he could like it was a race, the fish jumped and we got a look and then he was gone.   :(   Then mom caught a small catfish, but it was getting dark and couldn't hardly see the fish so I ended up grabbing a towel to hold it so I could get the hook out without getting stung, those little bastards hurt!  By this time it was getting very dark and we couldn't even hardly see enough to reload the shrimp on the hooks, so we packed up and called it a day.

Yesterday I took the kids to the pool and we swam for a couple of hours.  I got some really great pics and video with my camera with the waterproof case on.  The kids are having a blast and so am I!  And my little nephew cracks me up.  I've only hung out with him a couple of times before, as he was only 6 months old when I moved to Denver.  But he always right by my side; "Uncle Scottie this.  Uncle Scottie that."  And the stuff this kid comes up with!  He is definitely related to me.  LOL  ;D
