Grant, what state are you in? It is not uncommon for motor vehicle dealers to execute purchase contracts in the guise of a deposit. Did you sign any paperwork and, if so, did it specify the exact model being purchased and include any terms on refunds? Many states have adopted UCC laws that address unfulfilled orders. Without explicit refund terms, though, deposits can be difficult to recover if the dealer decides to be stubborn. Credit cards offer more options for recovery than cash, for sure.

Think you'll really like that G5 Deluxe.  I have a 2011 version and it is really a show stopper where ever I go.  Put a sidecar on it and you'll really get attention.
