Try this. It is something I wrote years ago. The principal is the same. You reduce the 4 wires to the two that go into the regulator. This is easier that you think. Where it shows the two violets on the regulator substitute that for the two AC wires going into your new regulator (probably the same color and NOT red and black or red and white)

Thanks Kevin,
                    I guess the PODtronics unit will come with instructions and a diagram, And I understand that to use all of my alternators output for DC, I will be connecting the 4 wires down to two, its just a matter of pairing the correct ones, Im not sure on the theory, but I hope that enough time and a multimeter will make things clear!
