today i fired the Bullet up for the first time, but the barstool was kicking back hard.
i have fitted pazon eletronic ignition is this a little to advanced? set at 34deg before TDC
running a Amal 32mm carb +Henry Price R cams , big valves , high out put oil pumps plus roller bottom end.

34o should be about right in full advance. Are you sure you timed it to the advance position. If you put the retarded timing there, it will definitely try to bite you!
It should be about 9o retarded

No decompressor used? Is it kicking back at you, or is it just running backwards?

a mate came around with a strobe ,we timed it to 34deg(i was way out) its running really well and starts first kick!!
need to get some miles on it now!
