Heres something from Europe. The pre-unit bikes are hard to beat when it comes to building a racer.
2005E Fixed and or Replaced: ignition, fenders,chainguard,wires,carb,headlight,seat,tailight,sprockets,chain,shock springs,fork springs, exhaust system, horn,shifter,clutch arm, trafficators,crankcase vent.

That looks like Andy Berry's Fury. He tunes and rebuilds Royal Enfields in the U.K. and occasionally sprints this machine. It is reputed to produce over 40 BHP [don't know if that's at the rear wheel, but would assume so].

Wonderful motorcycle, looks like the picture was taken in California. Blue license on the car in the background, giant Buick, AHRMA sticker on the swing arm.
