Flatside carb
« on: July 09, 2008, 12:18:25 am »
Fitted the flatside today. Goes on fairly easily although look out for the L. hand bolt. I had to just barely screw the nut on while the carb was still very loose and before I had done the same to the r. side. Very limited clearance here and you will not have room to get the nut on after the R. side is started.
Also, put on the '50's style header and short muffler. Loosened up everything necessary, mocked up header and muffler, began tightening everytbit by bit and you know what? That exhaust went on without a hitch!
  Sounds great, runs great.
