This is one of my winter projects. This Puca Smiths instrument is absolutely gorgeous! I ordered it with a flanged bezel&mounting kit that allows it to flush mount into the headlite.

Thanks Tom. I've no doubt it will perform every bit as good as it looks. Any idea what the permanent arm pointing at 30mph is about?

When the Original Smiths were made, the average MAX speed limit was 30mph. they put the line on there so you wouldn't speed. Much like how new cars have an emphasis on "55" on the speedo.

Interesting. I do like the looks of it but,I think this fireball can reach top speeds of over 30!
