There is a Lucas Special dynamo on ebay listed for an Ariel Square four & a 700 super meteor, or 500 twin. Is that poss.? Perhaps the dynamo would be, but obviously the 4 cylinder distributor would not be right?

If you rebuild old Lucas stuff might be worth having. Shippings high. Not much there for RE.   ERC

After everything I've read about Lucas magnetos and Dynamos, I don't think I would ever spend the money to have one rebuilt just to have it fail again.  My Thorspark EI is going strong and I never have any ignition troubles.  But Those Dynamos would be nice and valuable to the right person, like someone who restores bikes to 100% original.

The Tomahawk or sport twin 500 used the distributor dyno set up thru 1956 if I remember correctly. They went to an alternator & distributor in 57.
