GHG - I've always wanted that first linked song played at my funeral (I like to plan ahead).

If you all haven't had the pleasure, here is Nina Simone.

Good stuff there boggy.  And that WOULD be a good choice !  I like it..  Ummmmmm..... ?  I haven't given that much thought.  BUT , if the wife could afford it , I would like to have either one of these guys show up, and play a tune at the wake.....

If ANYONE has ever heard of this genre you have my deepest respect.  I'm willing to bet that 99% never knew this music existed, and it is most certainly one of the most interesting genres out there.  Feast your ears on folk metal with Fintroll!

Well, duh, Scottie...  ;)

The hurdy-gurdy world is a small one; not much gets by!

There's Corvus Corax from Germany - their theatrics are a little over-the-top, even by metal standards, but what a hurdy-gurdy!!

Eluveitie from Switzerland is another one.  Spot the hurdy-gurdy below?

Awesome Matt!  Simply awesome!  I figured someone would know what's up, but I didn't even put 2 and 2 together and think it would be you.  Big :D

Hey while we're on both subjects.........

Mattz - Do you have any recordings of your music?  Being a musician myself, I love hearing anything "local" and underground regardless of genre.   :)

My first post on this thread was Buffalo Springfield's "What it's Worth."  I thought it was a timely tune.  This one goes nicely with that.
