Installing my new piston, rings, newly honed barrel...couldn't find specs for ring gap
First timer, tips gladly accepted.   Planning on heating the piston with a hot rag to . Just watched an excellent vid on YouTube  for the 350 re,  guess this is going to take longer than I thought

         Thanks, Matt in Glendale
          09 AVL
Edit...used IB specs, .018".   Went together fast, even having to take it apart three times
Now, awaiting the mailman for a valve guide!

Matt,

sorry, this is a bit late for your reassembly, but this is what I found in the service manual, piston ring end gap, compression rings min 0.25mm, max 0.45mm, oil ring min 0.20, max 0.70mm.

In my BSA days we called it 0.010"!

Regards,

A.
