This might be an idea for oversize pistons if you don't want to make the jump from 84mm to 87mm in one go.

Did you have a link? or do you mean GashouseGorilla or Scooterbob could get a custom size?

I did notice that the Premium Forged AVL Piston on sale thru CMW has a 500cc / 500cc + .40mm & a 535cc piston.

However,  flat slide carbs came out in the 80s, and really proved better for performance. ... The Mikuni TM series is a great carb for the money. We use them on all the Fireballs. ...

sounds good - I'm sold on the Mikuni TM flat slide. thanks

I just found Ace's post on 2CV's build ... found it late last night and ended up binge reading like I was on Netflix ... stayed up way to late. I still need to finish - didn't want to skip to the end - don't want to miss anything ... lol
