I looked it up, but I couldn't find a list of eligible bikes.
Perhaps it is a modern class which doesn't require vintage pedigree or design, and in that case the AVL Bullet could participate. The AVL is not eligible for any vintage class racing because it is a modern bike.
If it is a modern class like Super Mono, then you will be up against all the modern singles under 610cc, and that could be pretty stiff competition, because they will alol have at least twice or 3 times the hp that you have.

It can still be very enjoyable as a street machine.
And no class rules to restrict you.

Amen to that!

Straight from the AHRMA rule book:

"Royal Enfield Bullet built in India, five-speed models permitted only if the transmission is mechanically limited to four speeds."

They refer to the "Bullet" which is the continuation of the basic 1950s design. The Iron Barrel models. This is why they make the 4-speed requirement. The 4-speed gearbox is the same as the old ones too.

It simply comes down to the fact that the Electra AVL is not a vintage engine, so it's not eligible in vintage races.  It's the same reason that they don't allow flat-slide carburetors. Not period correct. Simple as that.

So what you CAN do is to get an older four-speeder and tune it for the track, while keeping the Electra as your street bike!
