Stopped for lunch at a local cafe (Truck Stop) Cameron, WI. Pulled in next to a car w/British Columbia plates. Went in had lunch.

Came out & was preparing to be on my way & this fella hurries out of the cafe to talk to me about my Classic Hack. I gave him the basic history. He told me it didn't mean a thing about being made in India, the RE had it's heritage in England! Turns out he is British an lives in Canada now. Used to ride an Enfield as a dispatch rider during WW2.

I thanked him for his war service. After several pictures, he was on his way talking pretty nice about the Yank who appreciated a good ride  ;)

Glad this wasn't a breakdown/stranded story......I've had an extended lunch hour, recently, under such circumstances......
