Update!
The house mechanic, Mateo, will take over as RE Dealer in Santa Fe! Though the business will re-locate within the city, the great service will continue!
Thanks to CMW for helping to make this possible, and BIG congrats to Mateo for fulfilling a lifelong dream!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

That's great news!  Having a knowledgable dealer and shop nearby is a great thing.  My local RE dealer (Scoot Over - Tucson, AZ) has two mechanics that are crazy about these bikes.  They give advice, their knowledge matches up with much of what I've discovered on this forum, and they can order the Nfield Gear stuff without shipping costs!

All my extra $$$ has to go into the house, dammit!

CMW will work with you if you have a warranty issue . There is no reason for an A&P ( unless you work in the meat dept.) not to be able to fix your own RE.

Btw , my dealer is over 800 miles away . When he retires will be 1500 miles or more.

The Shop manager, Mateo, will be opening soon for RE service, so no problem there. If I can fix it myself, no problem there, either, but I would prefer not to have to pay for parts as long as the warranty is intact.
I'm covered in any case.
