Very cool!

Was the set-up hard?

Looks great. How does it run?

Beautiful bike, and coincidentally looks just like mine!

I noticed on yours, as well as mine, the short hose between the PAV and the carb has a regular metal hose clamp on the PAV side but a plastic cable tie on the carb side.  Does anyone have any idea why this is so?  Should the cable tie be replaced with a regular hose clamp?

It just doesn't seem right to have a plastic cable tie on such a classic looking machine.

The bike is from CMW, my dealer sent good hand written instructions, for set up, very doable  took a couple of hours, then a few adjustments(foot pegs) after a ride.My bike also has plastic zip tie at the carb intake.I looked at pictures in my Electra Workshop manual and it shows the same zip tie in the factory pictures.

My dealer in Fairbanks helped with shipping to give me a good deal. He has a shipping account.

A great big congrats! Looks just like mine! I bet the British Racing Green must be one of the most popular options. I'm sure you won't run into another one up there in the land of the midnight sun. Maybe you should look into the goldstar performance package so you can out run them big bears up there! :D

[/ Thanks Ridgerunner,I had my sights set on BR Green. I road  home from work Sunday night at midnight , no cars on the road and still twilight and at a nice 35mph.I couldn't stop smiling as I thumped along. I didn't see any bears but they are awake and waiting on the salmon to fill the creeks.I'm pretty sure I own the only RE in town.

I hope you get better weather to ride it in.

Anchorage Daily News, (www.adn.com), says 50 and cloudy, (again).

Fifty degrees is good. Just add another layer. Sure beats 100 F.

NO NO NO! The EPA would never allow it! You might damage the ecosystem of the west Texas white-tailed grizzly fox squirrel...or at least it's fleas!

I forgot about the paperwork, and the ecosystem. We don't want the fleas either, all the dogs here are very happy.
