Scottie, getting together would be great but not in this freezing weather.

I sent you a PM with my contact information, and also an inquiry if you can do some paint work and other work since your personal picture had something to do with a Total Custom Paint Shop.

Yes, I would certainly like to see a video of you doing doughnuts in the snow.

I ENJOYED YOUR ARTISTIC CHRISTMAS VIDEO. It was music to my ears, candy for my eyes. As a Yuletide Greeting & sharing of a blessing in common, I'm enclosing a picture of my 750 Enfield Interceptor. Long gone, but never forgotten.
BEST OF CHRISTMASES TO YOU TO.  Craig
Best Wishes, Craig McClure

You just need some studded tires and a heated suit!  Saw people do that in Iceland.  They weren't crazy though, just drank a lot.  ;D  Not implying anything by that, you seem like a little kid with a new bicycle that can't wait for spring.  8)

So much fun lol

I hope the tank is okay after that little slip, because I kind of dented mine at a speed of 0 last year, which was eventually fixed though.

Merry Xmas!

Yes Craig, beautiful Interceptor you had.

And the gas tank is fine lol.  It was just so cold that 60 seconds into riding my whole body was like "Dude!  What the hell are you doing?!"  It's a lot of work keeping that big of a torque horse on 2 wheels on ice!

How true!  I'd be too afraid of dropping it.  Hell, I would drop it.  Thumbs up Scottie!

First Gear makes a cold weather riding suit for under $200 that gets great reviews.  I've read of several people who say that jeans and a t-shirt are all you need under it in sub-freezing weather and you stay plenty toasty and dry.  I tried one on once and started sweating in the shop as soon as I zipped it up.  You still need to find a way to keep your hands and feet warm and dry but this suit is really nice and really cheap for cold weather.

As for me, I hate to say it but I'm off the bike for a while.  It got unseasonably cold really quickly here in the Pacific Northwest, came out of nowhere.  With temps in the mid 20s at night it's cold enough that I don't even want to go clean up the garage at night.  Brrrrr!  But if things go as usual there will be those lovely, 40 degree sunny weekend days every few weeks and I'll sneak out for a little ride here and there.  But not today, snow and icy streets on the way to work.  Ick!

My old Beezer got dropped a lot. The worst damage it ever got was a bent clutch lever. The second day I road it in the snow, the club was out playing in one of our favorite spots with some trails and a good hill climb . I had bought the bike the day before and had to ride it home in the snow which was adventurous, but I made it with the rubber side down. The next day, leaving the house, which was on a half mile, hill climbing, motocross track of a road, I slid own coming around around a corner and took out our neighbor's log rail fence! Then I want on down to the ride. I ended up falling off thirteen times that day slipping and sliding around in the snow and mud! The last get off was in front of our house going home! My mom said she had never seen so much blue air in one spot before!
It was a great day!
