I just purchased the first RE a 2005 Bullet 500 , the rear headlight assembly is missing the rubber strip and its rattling and making allot of noise. Anyone know where i can source the strip or something like it. I was thinking of maybe a rubber door guard for a car door ..... thanks in advance and i look forward to the forum .Very excited about the new purchase.

A car door bump strip will work.  That's what I used on the lids of my ammo can panneirs to cure the rattle.

I had very good luck replacing the whole assembly with this item:

If you have a few extra bucks, I highly recommend it.

Oh! I'm silly.....yeah. The whole assembly. Like Brother D said....car door bumper strip should work fine.
