This "barn with a red light on it" housing has to go over the winter. I hate it.

Put the website address link between the two tags.  The first '[]' pair is the opening tags, the '[/]' is the closing tag.  The desired address goes between them.

Yes, I know, but why can't I Cut & Paste? Let me try it again.

Here's one tail light I'm looking at (if it works):

I see my mistake now. I was using Insert Hyperlink instead of Paste.

        So here's another:

        Comments?  Ideas?

That one's my preferred right now mostly because of the shape of the housing.

This is the one I installed on The Blackhawk.  Very durable and heavy duty & the universal mounting application allows you to mount it almost any direction you want.

From the looks of it, that posting is from Dave at Arvada Bike Company.  He's just around the corner from me where I work.  He's a great guy.  ;)

I really like both yours & Scottie's, but I'm not ready to spend that much being a "senior citizen on a fixed income" facing yet another year of 14% inflation (just ONE of the numbers this administration continues to lie to us about) & an outRAGE-ous increase in HC insurance premium (with a $5,000 deductible/$6,350 O/P) Obamacare policy for the wife. I am waaay beyOND pissed off.

I'd rather spend 1/4 that much on a tail light that's "almost" as cool & save the rest to send to you    :)

If you're on a budget then by all means get one of the lights you posted.  I personally like the first one.

Get one of the cheap ones that closely matches the hole pattern you already have on the light on the bike.  ERC

Swiss Cheese test fitting a Ford Model A light (LED).  I made a new plate and painted the housing to match.

The stock AVL housing is held by one (1) giant central bolt so holes will not match no matter what. It will take some thought to do it right. I might make a mirror image bracket with a center hole & two outer holes that match the light bracket holes. Then I'll also need some kind of grommet for the wires' hole.
