Looking real good!  Question.....  I've seen that rack before and always thought that it'd be too small to actually be functional, but it does look really nice.  What are your thoughts on the size of this rack?

To be honest, I wish it were a tad bigger; but that's ok. I wanted the rack that mounted directly to the fender instead of the one with brackets that mounts to the seat and fender struts. Was only able to find chrome ones, so I finished it in black. Felt that the black goes better with the rest of the hardware on that color bike. Hopefully NFieldGear.com will get the black tank racks back in stock before next spring.  If not, I'll get the chrome and refinish it in black as well. It will be a winter project to make a leather trunk to go on the rack and a cell phone holster for the tank rack.

That color does look better in person. I have been a lurker here for a couple of years and have wanted a RE for a few longer than that. When I saw the new color, I knew that was the one.
Was glad to find a local dealer that happened to have one.

Very nice and I didn't know they even came in that color...The black front bag and rear fender rack compliments it...I have a front bag (not as nice as that) but I noticed the straps would start buffing and wearing on the paint, so it's off right now...Good luck with that fine looking machine..GM

The creamy white is really complimented by the burgundy RE logos. Really nice combination.

So Sweet. Nice choice painting the rack black. I really love the new color and almost (I said almost) regret buying when I did.
