So it's my birthday today, yay!   :D  Most years I don't give a rat's ass about my birthday, it's just another day.  But this year, I feel really good today, despite money being tight all year, and kind of feel like saying screw today and just have fun.  Maybe take the bike for a ride and go fishing.  Yeah, fishing.  Now THAT sounds like a good time.   ;D   I can't decide if I should go to work or not.  There is seriously nothing going on in the body shop right now, I've been cleaning and screwing around the last few days, so I can totally take the day off if I want with no issues with work.  Then part of me is like "dude you don't have any vacation time".  Then another part of me is like "dude, you can work whatever hours you want.  Just stay late the rest of the week".

What do you think?!  Hurry!  I have to decide soon!   LOL

Decisions decisions.

For me, working is like fishing.
I can't think of anything else that I would rather do than thinking up cool things to do to Enfields,  and then making it happen.
I am thinking about it,  or doing it 24/7, and I never get tired of it.

Do whatever makes you happy.
Happy Birthday!

Scottie:

As a guy who's had his share of birthday cake I'm telling you: take the day off. Ride your bike, go fishing. Don't miss your life.

That's where I'm at Tom.  I generally don't mind at all working on my birthday, it's just that as much as I'd like to get paid for standing around, I'd rather be doing something constructive.  Oooh!  I could take the Blackhawk to the motocross track today like I've been wanting to.  ;D

Still in your 30's? I would save it 'till I had no energy,(like now for me).

One question:  Do you live to work or work to support your life?
Take the day off.

Just got back from fishing.  What a great idea!  I ended up catching 3 brook trout, 3 rainbow trout and a nice buzz.  ;D

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys!

Happy Birthday, Scottie!  Every day is someone's birthday, people, so just pick a day and take it off!

When my wife was growing up, (only very) occasionally her mother would let her kids stay home from school, for a "mental health" day.  Wise...

It ended up being a great day yesterday.  Caught some fish, drank some beers, enjoyed some fantastic MMJ  (I love Denver 8) ),  blew out 35 candles that my wife strategically placed on my bday cake, and had a nice dinner with my wife and stepson.  PLUS my body felt good too!  Any day without knee and back pain these days is a good day in my book.  Huh old timers?  ;)
