Natives here in the north Georgia mountains keep their eyes peeled for "Haunt Lights", which I understand are blue also & float along. this always gets their attention.

"An, thar I wer.  Hunkered down alongside tha road an' ah heer ah sound a commin.  Ah swear it sounded like the devil himself war a growling an than I sees um.
Two blue eyes a floatin along comin rite at me an the growlin' gets louder an' louder!
Em eyes war a lookin rite thru me!  Ah could feel tham a' burnin ma ovaralls sure as lightnin'.

Well, my momma didn't raise no dummies so ah hytailes it home as fast as my feet could carry me.  Ain't no blue eyed devil gonna take this child!  No sir!"

And the Royal Enfield continued to roar past down the lonely two lane road the rider never suspecting he had been seen.
