Hi All
Last week I purchased a Classic Chrome for my wife( They are Lerner legal in Queensland)
Only issue it was in Melbourne and we live in Queensland 2000 km away. Solution, fly down to Melbourne and ride it back home.
Im not a small bloke ( 6' 220lbs).
Apart from struggling against some huge head winds which saw my speed up hills down to 80 kmph, I'm in love what a fantastic little bike. The run from Cann River near the coast up to Cooma in the snowy mountains was worth the whole ride.

As my wife gains confidence there will be many more rides.
I think that with raised gearing and some padding installed on the seat the little Enfield can tour with the best of them.

Wow, long ride for a break-in!  Congrats.  I hope your wife does well with it.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm curious.....  What was your average speed riding back home?

Welcome.
Let me know how your wife likes the bike. Mine has been thinking about riding, but she's right at 5' (she says, I'm thinking 4'11" or even 10")  My dealer says he can drop one down a little to help out.
