Cataloge Vs Online
« on: October 15, 2013, 11:35:20 am »
I just had a look at the 2013 Gear Catalog and noticed a number of discrepancies in compatibility vs the online store.  Several examples are in the exhaust section.  The catalog lists the megaphone and EFI silencer as being compatible with the B5 while online doesn't.  In areas in question, which is right?  I'd hate to order something and then have it not fit correctly.

If it's a EFI silencer it will work on all of the fuel injected RE's.

They all have the same sized exhaust header and the mounting brackets are very similar.

Generally speaking, I think the person(s) who set up the web catalog didn't take the time to really get the "where used" references set up as well as those who made the catalog.

It's generally understood here that you can't count on the website for complete compatibility, or availability, information.  Plus, they have stuff that isn't shown on line.  Get an idea of what you want, and call them.  They may not always have what you want, when you want it, but they've always been a pleasure to deal with...
