Well i can say these things are really great. total investment was around $60 Australian inc post. The were super easy to mount.
the problem with the stock shocks wasnt when i was solo, it was when carrying my fat frame along with the missus which we do fairly often. the stockys would bottom out. These girling shocks have a nice soft spongy feel. i love em. alone riding they are really fun. no bottoming out any more and a smoother ride!!!

thanks Dave! its sooo good to have brakes again.
just gotta install the front pads now which is supposedly easier!

Disk brake pads are so easy to install, basically unclip one side of the caliber, swing out, take off old pads, put new ones in, re grease the slide pins with brake grease, reset the piston and put back together ;) (Well, that's a car but same principle)
