I don't know bro, kinda looks like you bought a box of pamphlets and plastic... There a bike in there somewhere?

I was ALSO going to guess that it was a leg shaped lamp that you were awarded.  Possibly Italian.

Couldn't have been the 'leg'.
The box didn't say Fraa-gee-lee (fragile) on it so I knew it couldn't come from Italy like the leg did.

LMMFAO    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I love you guys!  One of my all-time favorite movies!

YES!  There is a bike in there.  The PO did a HELL of a job crating this thing up!  The bike was already 100% disassembled, but everything is bagged n tagged.    :)
From what I know the bike has been sitting since '67 with a "blown motor".  The PO I got it from picked it up as a project recently and disassembled it to find the problem.  Turns out #1 cylinder spun the main bearing on the crank.  Looks like the original owner shut it down right away because the crank damage is pretty minimal, can be reground without a problem.  In fact, because I'm having custom rods and pistons made I may be able to get away with only doing a -.005 under grind, the PO said the crank shop he took it to said it was within -.004 spec.

Heads appear to be in great shape with no broken cooling fins.   +1    Also I gauged the cylinders, which looked in ok shape with no damage, and they are still are the factory 2.751" bore.  So great news there!    :D   There is 1 broken fin on 1 of the cylinders, but I think it should ok.

Annnnnnd...  Those "pamphlets" in there are paper gold my friend.  Not only is 1 of those the parts supplement catalog for the '59-'60 Chief, ANOTHER 1 of those is the parts supplement catalog for my '58 Trailblazer.   HUGE score!!!  Another 1 of those books is some kind of Interceptor catalog or enthusiast magazine, didn't get a chance to look at it tho.
