My wife knew her dad rode motorcycles, however just yesterday looking through my mother in laws photo album we found out it was a RE.
first pic is my in laws on the bike, second one is my wife 63 years ago.
Just wanted to share the moment. ;D

JVS, not sure if it is J2? all I know is my father in law & his brother both purchased one each, brand new here in Melbourne Australia.

Thanks for post the pics, avandr!
I took special note of the tank decal. Definitely justifies it on the C5. I initially didn't like it, thinking it was out of place on a retro bike, but now I stand corrected.  ;D
