Thanks for the welcomes and replies.  LOL sorry if my user name is misleading, it's actually the registered name of my horse, one that I've just been using as a Web name for many years.  No I'm not from around Boston area but instead up in Canada which explains the Electra model.
Anyway decided to keep Electra and not try and change up for a Classic.  Walked past the bike in the morning going to work and thought it looked pretty awesome but more importantly decided that as said best by Pauly, is that now and in ten years this is the bike that my wife and boys bought for me!

Keep the bike, but change the tires.  The stock tires on the Electra/G5s are less than impressive.

Go ride and enjoy not being needed!

What an awesome story!  Congrats on the new bike!  :D

I have insurance thru Geico, just over $10 a month and I've never had any issues.  Then again I've never been in an accident either.

the best bike is always the one you're riding ! but i reckon the G5\electra looks cooler than the C5:)
