Sorry if this is old news, but it's the first I've seen - 2014 C5, in silver:

I must admit I'm surprised that despite all our forum activity, we manage to stumble upon so many of these things, like new paint colors, etc...

There is a new Tan color that is nice as well. Both were posted to Royal Enfield USA facebook page.

That looks great :)  While I really like how the origianl teal and maroon flow with the body and frame the same color, I think the old school look is better.  Black frame with colored body components gives it a better old fashioned look.  And I really like that the tank patch with the logo is black instead of white.

Oh my word, that is one fine color scheme!!!!  Of course, it doesn't have the bazooka...

I wonder who is posting this stuff on Facebook, without mentioning it here among the true loyal followers?!?

No bazooka, no mirrors, 7" headlight.  Those three small things make the bike look soooooooo much better.  The original 3 page fold out sales brochure had the same things done.

Really!  RE should just pack a mod kit with the bike.

The Electra had a silver version. However this C5 has a lot more attitude.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for a 7 inch standard headlight in USA models. The federallies still require an aimable lamp. Then again Hardley Ferguson still sells UAM motorcycles with factory exhaust systems. If the new REs come with the little 5 inch lamp in an aimable bucket, its an easy change out to do while one is in there taking the pesky headlight jumper out.

The creamy one is nice looking... Wonder if it would look nice in my garage next to my other one. Anyone else think creamy forks and headstock instead of black?

Desi -

I know what you mean about the forks and headstock.  I always have trouble finding photos in the gallery, but I did find Tiny Tim's pics: the bike has fork gaiters, which might as well be black fork tubes for the purposes of our discussion, but you can see what a difference for the better even just the "tan" headstock makes:

I really like the "tan" (cream ?) and red.
It 's a really vintage color combination.

I suspect the upswept exhaust with the short silencer isn't what we'll end up getting in the US.  Kinda sad that we are saddled with a giant chrome Tootsie Roll. :(
