Or, just come on up to mid-coast Maine for a ride - nobody ever notices or comments on my bike here - just one guy, in fact, in the year I've been riding it.  Maybe they don't notice it past me in all my dorky riding gear - full face helmet and day-glo yellow jacket... I look like I should be touring on a Beemer, I guess.  Boo hoo, I'm devistated.

Matt -

I found the best way to get noticed is to park on the sidewalk !   ;)

Thanks for all the tips, fellas! It's been a good couple of days, got nearly a hundred miles on the bike now. Dodged a bus and an ice cream truck (of all things) along the way, and turned a couple heads as well!

I'll be prioritizing the NGK plug, saddlebags, and pillion pad, and look into the EFI silencer after that. I'd optimally like a little more performance out of the bike, but I know it's no streetfighter. I'd also like to run Royal Purple oil, but I'm still researching lubrication.

At any rate, I'm damn happy to be a Royal Enfield owner.

you might get a bit more performance out of the efi muffler - then again it could be just mind play. but you will get a great bang for your buck! so go ahead do it.
soon as i pick up my B5 i will run it 200 kl on the standard and like my previous rides switch over to the english efi.
at the moment it's just laying about in the spare room and waiting anxiously to - report for duty sir! ;D

The EFI muffler certainly sounds faster, which is all most people need ;)
