I sold my 2010 Royal Enfield C5 Military today. It was my first bike and I'm sad to see it go but happy for the new owner and for whatever bike I end up getting. The guy who bought it is going to take excellent care of it and will appreciate it for what it is. It's a good fit with him being an ex-Marine and it being a Military C5.
Im not here to bash Royal Enfield but to say thanks to all the community members who make this such a special place for Royal Enfield owners or enthusiasts to gather and talk bikes or just life. From the grandest gearhead to the weekend mechanic, this is a community filled with great people. Many of problems and headaches have been relived through this forum. I would just like to thank all of you for the help and just keep doing what you guys do the best. I think I'm going to get another Kawasaki H2 750 Triple, as a 19 year old they are more my speed. I would like to close with some words i thought of as i rode home with helmet in hand, sometimes we change a motorcycle, sometimes we find a motorcycle that changes us. That motorcycle was my Royal Enfield. Built like a gun, goes like a bullet............
