Hello all, I'm a new member and recently fell in love with royal Enfield. I now desperately want one haha. One of the features I love about them that I am a little confused about is the kickstarter. On the RE website for their bullet classics (called the c5 I believe) they all show that they have that kickstarter in the pic except for the model I'm interested in which is the battle green version. Does this mean RE is making the move to get rid of the kickstarter or what?

Only the 2009-10 C5s came without the kickstarter.  All current REs have them. Must be an older photo.

Thank you very much, would have been very sad if the one model I wanted was the only one without one haha. I just love that you can kick start them even when they have electric fuel injection engines.

The RE sprague clutch will make you glad your bike does have a kickstart.  ;)
