Ive got a standard exhaust. It actually extends longer that the bike. Would it be cool to cut a few inches off this without affecting the performance? Should be sweet aye? Im talking bout the narrower section after the baffle at the end of the standard exhaust. wanna get my saber saw on that....

It shouldn't cause any problem and would definitely look better, IMHO. I'd considered the same tack, but decided to go for a completely different silencer instead.

I opted for a hollow short bottle, with an aftermarket baffle (8" triangle hole) and about 3" of fiberglass to give it enough back pressure so the efi doesn't have a heart attack, and enough to give it a good thump on hard acceleration and just a murmur at idle... it's fun!
