Good on you, br!  The funny thing is that I just removed my starter, sprag and gear for a weight savings of 7 pounds. My cheeseburger and milkshake I had for lunch weighed more!

I had the same idea.

Over the last 7 months, I lost 40 pounds, and have really improved my physical condition, and feel a lot better!
It's worth it.
