I had an '06 Scrambler. It was the same cap.
As intimated, you don't need to drill a hole in the cap. The tank breathes through the bottom and internally.
The dealer you bought your bike from should have a cap or two laying around. He supplied Enfield with caps when they first got the Cali models in! Call Art!
