I'm looking for ideas for adding saddlebags to the 56.  As you see in the image, the rear fender is not original to the bike and does not have the apparatus that the earlier models had to "hang" bags.  If I had a tandem seat, I could add throw overs but with the solo, I'm not sure what to modify.  The gloss paint is so pristine, I hate to cover it up or drill into it, but I need a practical way to haul things.  I ride to work daily on my big cruiser and hope to take the 56 to work one or two days per week, but I need to carry lunch kit, iPad, suit coat, etc.  I rode one day last week with a backpack and that was not effective.
