My local hardware store, Ayers, in Arlington, VA came up with this. I asked for the Curtis B56. I gave him the original Royal Enfield key. He said the B56 wasn't close. Maybe I got that tip from the wrong section here. I have a 2004 with an electric start.
This key is an ilco, X54 DC1 and it works! So if you need a blank and didn't order one from CMW you can find one of these.

Thanks!  That's really useful info.  Hancock's list several different blanks for the Enfields; left and right slot ignition and shorter left or right slot for the gas cap, as well as different lengths of each.  Yours are apparently right slot, mine are left slot.  Makes me wonder what the people that order parts at the factory think about.
I ordered from Hancocks and waited 3 weeks for my spares.

I hear you, D and D. My total cost, with tax, was $2.26. No waiting.
