Folks,
I will be unable to make it. My back has been giving me trouble. The doctor has prohibited me from riding until I am able to perform somethings e.g. lose some weight etc etc. I think he is right. I gotta fix this now before it gets worse. What a bummer. I was waiting for this for a while. Anyhow, you guys have fun!

Wow; I used to live in Fairfield in the 80's; Wish I could go with you guys. But alas, I am up here in Eugene, Oregon, too far to come.. I did go on a local ride last sunday, But I was the only Royal Enfield there.. I'll be looking for a group to join up with..

It sounds as if this ride has fallen apart... ?

Man, I was just up in Calistoga last weekend with my wife for wine tasting and it was 95+ degrees! There are some gorgeous roads up there.

I wasn't going to be able to make that ride as it is Father's Day and I'll be in Fremont visiting family.

Might I propose an alternative?

Anyone want to meet up at Alice's Restaurant next Saturday, the 15th? Great place to eat, great bikes to see and some of the very best roads to explore.

Father's day is no good for me,  actually I'm tied up that whole weekend. The summer is young though,  I'm sure we'll be able to organize a ride before it ends.

Just happened to be visiting in SF area this weekend, south of the city.  We were woken up this morning but nothing got damaged.  Saw a nice black C5 in the city while we were out for brunch.  Our friends in the city said it was long and rolling there, but no damage to speak of for them.  Looks like the Napa area got the worst if it.

I had gotten up at 3:10 to answer nature's call, and was listening to the radio and about to z out again when I felt what I thought was my cat bathing vigorously. then I realized she was locked out of the room, and guessed what it may have been shaking the bed. then I fell back asleep. not my best earthquake story...
