What is preventing you from using one size bigger main jet. Go for it, you ll find out if its better or not. It wont hurt the bike.

Gremlin, the 350 Bullet was used as a police bike in India, ( not sure its still being used as a police bike ) and the thumping sound from that engine is like none other....awesome..Its what made Royal Enfield the company it is today...I purchased my Bike 25 years later, just based on the sound of that thumping I still had in my mind and in my memory.....

The main jet will have the most effects at the largest throttle openings, which would be where you want the change.
However, there is no guarantee that just having a richer mixture in the top speeds is going to improve your power up there. It might do it, if the jetting is too lean up top.

I would put the emphasis on getting a more free-flowing exhaust system, and a free flow air filter, and then jet properly for the new configuration.

Upping the main jet size will have little effect on horsepower. If you're biek is properly jetted, that is all the power you're going to have. Putting a bigger jet in an already properly jetted bike will start to degrade the performance. The only way to get more more power is increasing the size of the carb. Putting on a bigger carb will reduce your low end power. To make that work well, then you need to change the cams, increase the compression and/or bore it out. When you start doing all this stuff the bottom end power will suffer.
Getting the jetting right only gets the bike to put out the power it should have anyway.

I simply don't understand the mindset of Indian Bullet riders.
On one hand they say, they like the Bullet 350 for its thump
and on the other hand, they would still want it to perform like
a modern Japanese sports bike.

How could a 50 year old technology come to terms with modern
day designs..........The Bullet 350 is a sweet bike, and is meant
to Chug along, long distances at speeds around 70-75 KPH. And yes
it does have the most amazing thump in which you can continue to drown yourself for hours together. :-*

Save money for conversion to 500 or 535.

 Until that day comes..try this.
Free flow air filter and exhaust+ 30mm flat slide carb.

Before that try this,

No matter where you go, there, you are.
