Well, it's finally happened. The bad boys of the road have a new ride, and it isn't a Harley or the equivalent . I could see it coming 15 years ago, but it may have begun years before that, when HD chased the oil leaks and "Harleyness" out of their lineup. This allowed the investment bankers and others who may dissolve in oil to enter the sport. The age demographic played heavily into the equation also. The weapon of choice for the cruiser guys is very expensive, now sporting touch screen technology and endless gadgets. This requires a fair amount of affluence to join that club, also that kind of machine accepts practically all body types. So, what is a new style badass to do? Sport bikes and dual sport "adventure rides" are everywhere and cheap. Marlon Brando is now on a KLR650 and Lee Marvin a 600 Ninja. Same crap, new guys and bikes. That scene could have come right out of Hollister C.A, if they had video cams back then. The only thing that has changed is the sound the morons make.
