Is there a good replacement for the cheap plastic lock on a c5 classic? mine broke and i really dont want to put a stock on back on.

Hitchcocks sells a metal one. I bet Nfield Gear could get it for you too. It's not expensive.

I like to buy my stuff from nfield gear whenever possible.  If not for them we would not have this web site.

Funny I had the lock on my battery box break as well.  I noticed my was broken after the 300 mile service, so the dealer said that they would replace it for free.  If I had known about the metal one I might have spent the 30 bucks and gotten it instead.

It is so much less expensive than getting a new battery cover.
And replacements are not the same quality chrome as the ones
from the factory. I lost mine, a beautiful chromed piece one day,
and am using a lesser quality now. This lock seems a very good
alternative !
