Maybe they don't sell it in the USA but here in the UK they sell Mobil 1 Racing 4T 15W-50.  That's what I've just put in my C5 because it's the viscosity that RE recommend and it was much cheaper than the Motul oils.

It might be here but I've never seen it.  Most stores just seem to carry the two I mentioned.

Extra Virgine for cooking, corn oil for salads.

About any reputable motorcycle oil will work, semi or full synthetic. Most people have their favorites. But all the favorites are different. Just make sure it's motorcycle oil

I checked and last time I paid e56.99 for 4 liters; 1 liter would be even more.
Best price I found on the net was eur 44.95 per 4 ltrs / eur 11.25 a liter, shipping not included. I dare not make the conversion to us$. :'(

Luckily my E5 hardly burns any oil between services.  ;)

was in o'reilly's this weekend and found castrol and another brand for $4.99 a quart, motorcycle specific.
