Hansel - love the look of those aggressive tires... very appropriate with the military paint job!How visible are those rear bullet turn signals "close-mounted" to the housing? I don't think I've seen anyone mount them exactly that way. Does the housing block them from view at an angle? Do you have a photo from the back?
......... possibly a diode kit..........
................I do think that a if a state has no helmet law, there should be mandatory organ doner participation )
Yes..but what ARE the knobbies? I would LOVE to convert my G5 to them after the 70's wear out.
......I'm going to run the Shinko 705 front and rear on my Trailblazer. It's a super moto style tire with a really deep cut V tread. It has great reviews for dry, wet, cornering and dirt riding conditions.........
i have the shinko tires on my c5.sr241 3.00 18 front 3.50 18 rear.http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/29/393/18730/ITEM/Shinko-SR241-Front-Rear-Dual-Sport-Tire.aspx
Please tell us what tires those are. Please.
That exhaust is the D&D full system.Bike looks great! Time to black out the headlight ring and the fork lowers. Maybe try some Plasti-Dip in case you don't like the outcome.I forget who, but someone here is a powder coated and blacked out pretty much every shiny bit on their military not long ago, looked awesome!Scott
Nice pics. Green bike with knobbies, requisite beer bottle, and kudos on the Bob stroller. (Ain't they great?) But your garage is just waaaaaay too clean. You need more mess if we're going to take you seriously.Scott
Does that guard have enough clearance for the oil drain plug and pump inlet casting?Looks like it could be in the way.
If it doesn't line up to let a socket in, surely you own a holesaw, jigsaw, Greenlee hole punch, or Dremel tool.Where there is a will there is a way and where there is a need there is a field expedient.
The skid plate doesnt cover the drain plug- so no need!
