thanks ace. I'm pretty pumped that you like it.

I absolutely had to get one from the UK that was stamped...
after much deliberation I couldn't do the vinyl lettering.
It may have been a little more expensive but is completely worth it.

Does the bottom curve's radius match that of the fender?  It's hard to tell from the pics, but it looks very close to the fender in the middle.

Either way, it's beautiful!  I really like that look... good find!

yeah, it's a little close in the center. at each end it is perfectly spaced.
one thing to remember with a british stamped plate is that the places that make these plates make them for many other motorcycles(of course in GB you cannot put one on your motorcycle unless it's pre 1973) but because of that there will be a generic curve to the plate that will be a little different on every motorcycle.

all in all, I'd much rather have a very small "tight spot" then use the, IMO, ultra generic plate that is offered directly for the enfields.
I'd have to agree with you that it is beautiful and was a great find, I highly recommend Framptons if anyone needs a slicer.

really nice plate..
also I noticed that the flange
that connects the exhaust pipe to
the head is a little different from mine.
is this a new design !

I like the slicer but I need to know what kind of beer comes in a cool blue bottle.

How did you come up with the letters & numbers on your front plate? Are they from your rear State plate?

That's very cool man. Wish I could slice some pedestrians . St  Kilda was crawling with them over the weekend.

As I recall, b.sheets has jumped ship and no longer owns his RE :( .  So, you might not hear from him about his number plate...

He was, how shall I put it... unhappy with the overall Enfield ownership experience, and traded it in for a 2013 Thruxton:

Received my slicer today and have it installed. Excellent service from supplier although a little pricy at $90 including shipping and hardware.
