This is a bit like asking these two how they know that's their hand on the end of their arm!  ;D

Someday, Gypsyjon, somebody is going to ask a similar question, and you're going to be the one to answer it, and the enquirer will be amazed at your knowledge...

^ Yes, however, it is in PDF format. The link I got it from doesn't work anymore. It is about 13.2MB.

Anychance you could post it somewhere? Or email? Google is pretty forgiving.

I have the B&W paper one but snagged the color pdf as well.  Sometimes it's just way easier to tell what's what in the color pics.

I found it by google-ing on manuals for RE UCE. So sorry can't remember which site it was on. However it is titled "EXPORT-SERVICE.pdf". Maybe that can help?

Ah, for me it was EXPORT-Manual.pdf, and I tried finding it yesterday. When I did and clicked on the link, it always gave the 404 error. However, to make things easier for everyone, I just uploaded it.  8)

Here's the link - http://www.2shared.com/document/4QWlSgKQ/EXPORT-Manual.html
When it prompts you for a password, put in (lower case) -         enfield

This is the workshop manual for the three export models E5 G5 C5 with color illustrations; the one you can buy in hardcopy. size is 13,5MB

export-service.pdf is 1,9MB and has 41 pages. A comprehensive service manual, with color pictures and all the torque figures.

I'm still looking for the source of export-service.pdf

In the meantime I found this:

For those who know French:
http://www.royalenfieldlesite.com/spip/spip.php?article294
has quite a lot of documentation on bullet, EFI's included:
spare parts catalogue, workshop manual, service manual electra, etc.

https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=d74671e4419dc6ca&resid=D74671E4419DC6CA!113&id=D74671E4419DC6CA%21113
Is the link for a load of documents. Including both files (service-manual and service-export). There's no request for passwords.
It is the source where i found these manuals, and refound at last.
Do take a preview to see if you really want the specific document. You will also find manuals for the diesel bullets.
Have fun.

The nice thing about Adobe PDF files is you can use the "search" feature to find stuff in the books.

For instance, if someone asks about the recommended torque for some bolt, I look up the bolt in the Parts List and then write down the RE part number.
Then, opening the Service Manual I type the part number into the 'search' engine and poke the 'go find it' button.

Often, the recommended torque for that bolt will be listed in the section that covers torques. :)
