Very cool!  Frame looks pretty clean.  Does it run?

I hope so when I'm finished. This is the first single I've done, all the others were old twins.  ERC

Heres mine :

You did try the Ace Piston and cams on your 612 , didn't you ? How did that work ? Are you planning on using the Ace big head on the fireball ?

da punds, Are you building another or weren't you satisfied with the 612 and are scaling down to the 535?   ERC

1 Thump Yes I did, the cams and piston worked well, the downside was the motor does not rev too well, so the upper rpm cause lots of vibration, and not much increase in power. I am in the process of having Tom work on the BigHead, initial flow figures look very good, I am still waiting for completion on the head as I have elected to go for a rocker job too. Cant wait to get it back on the road and give it some ....... :-)
ERC I am scaling down, looking for more top end than before, 612 was a great cruiser but wanting to go scratching, I have reduced my collection and got rid of 2 of my gsxr's which got the boy racer stuff out of my system. So the Enfield has to fill that roll.

Your bike looks great. It will be interesting to see how the one I'm putting together runs. The seat you have is it comfortable? I have a similar one, put it on didn't like it when I sat on it so I made up some brackets and put a foam filled one on.  ERC

The seat is quite comfortable, it is nicely run in now, although I am planning to change it this build for a large Bates model, (gel/foam filling), I was hoping to loose an inch in seat height and make the reach to the bars slightly longer, thus reducing my frontal area. I think I might be taking this tweaking stuff a bit far ,,, LOL

Is that a triumph instrument cluster. Could you post a close up of that. Thanks.

The instrument mount is from an Interceptor I think, the yokes are Hitchcocks, the mounting points match up perfectly.

I like the way your drag bars clear the tank with ease. Thats just not possible on the stock casquette setup without reducing the turning radius.

ERC - How are you coming on the hard tail?  Have you got it it started yet or do you plan on rebuilding the motor?
