So I'm fairly new to RE's and I've figured out why the headlamp switch doesn't work, but in doing so I found a couple of connectors in the left hand fuse box that I'm trying to figure out what they are/do. One is a 6 pin connector, with 3 pins actually connected to wires and the wire colors are red/white gray and black. The other is a wire coming off of the large connector harness and it's had a green sheathed female single plug connector attached to it.

so nobody knows what those wired do? or am I asking a question that I should be able to find easily?

I don't own a C5 and I haven't found any unconnected wires in the left side fuse box on my G5.
I have found several unplugged electrical connectors on my bikes ECU but I know they are there to plug in the computer analysis equipment or for running the ECU self test procedure.

My basic thought about your unconnected connectors is if everything is working like it should, don't worry about it.  Just tuck them some place where they can't rub or be cut by some sharp metal edge.

For the headlight.

As to the rest... not a clue yet. My Enfie electrical manual is on my birthday wish list. 10 days in case anyone... you know.. feels the need to send a complete stranger a 34th b-day present :P

Cheers and post what you find out!

PS the video says G-5 but it's exactly the same for the C-5 2012 Military, so I think it's a standard setup.

thank you gentlemen for the help thus far. I'm trying my best to figure this one out. I've spent the last little bit looking to see if maybe the c5 has a computer plug as well. Last night I went so far as to hit the connector with a multimeter and fiddle with different switches to see if I got voltage off of one of the pins thus far nothing notable.

A picture could give a clue.

Otherwise it sounds like the connectors to check the computer. Thus of no relevance to us. On my bike they're on the right hand side and I tuck them in the right hand deco panel.

The electrical manual is the primitive version of the electrical automatic.

It has few moving parts and no batteries are required but you do occasionally have to wind it up or it won't work. :)

I was just informed that it will have pages, but they will not auto populate, and updates are not available.

I take the above comments to mean the manual is crap? Dang. Well, good thing it was literally at the end of my wish-list, and being cheapest, probably the one gift I'll actually get!

Green sheathed female connector is used for MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) codes when there is an engine problem - by grounding it.

The 6 pin connector with 3 wires is for on line computer.

They are shown in G5 in this video -

I meant it as a serious question.  What electrical manual?  I've never heard of such a thing...

Maybe he is referring to the miniature electrical schematic that comes with the owners manual ?

You can get a larger version of that in B&W or color from NFieldGear.

Oops. I realized I said "enfie" Should a said Haynes. http://nfieldgear.com/enfield-store/maintenance-repair/manuals/haynes-motorcycle-electrical-manual.html

Right now I'm just using the schematics that come with the owners book.

Get the big schematic that NFG sells. I think it's a bit pricey, but at least it's legible, which is more than I can say about the owners manual or shop manual versions!

Big schematic? Beg you pardon?
Could not find it online. Perhaps in a paper catalogue?

True enough the chart in the shop manual, though A4 size, is illegible.
The miniature from the owner's manual is partly decipherable, given enough cup'o tea's.
Ironically this makes it better than the other.  :D

Wiring diagram poster:

http://nfieldgear.com/enfield-store/wiring-diagram-poster-1708.html

Color version is extra-fancy... and crazy expensive - but if it's accurate and colored in a useful way it's probably awesome.

I bought the black & white version late last year when I found it on sale for $17.  It was a good investment - really is poster-sized and very easy to read.  I'm new to RE bikes, and riding, for that matter, but not new to wiring diagrams, so I simply had to have one.  Incidentally, if you read my comment in the recent "twinspark" discussion somewhere around here, this very diagram is the one that shows two spark plugs...

Cool, I've bookmarked the page already.
Prices have indeed that wet cloth trait. Hey, still winter here.  ;D

Barring the secondary plug, including the special odd-shaped tool only relevant for Indian models, have you found other oddities or errors?
Editing as in proof-reading does not get the care yet it deserves.
An error proof copy would eventually warrant the excessive pricing.

I haven't found what I would call errors; but I haven't spent any time comparing the diagram to my actual bike.  I plan to do so soon when I do some pre-spring mods and adjustments.

I did my own coloring on my diagram (I was bored at work); in doing so, I noticed that there are some wires between components and connectors that aren't labeled with any colors.  I originally assumed that this implied that the colors were the same on both sides of the connector, but I also found instances where wire colors changed across connectors.  So until I can confirm the wire colors, they remain unknown to me.

Think of the wiring diagrams as merely a suggestion ;)

I find them good for reference on small sections, but I get a headache when I look at the thing as a whole.  It doesn't seem like there are many direct paths, everything piggy backs on something else's power, ground, or both.  It's not the way I would do it, but then the way I would do it requires a few lengths of heavier gauge wire that are relatively expensive.
